Certified Physician Assistant
Arelys Del Pino is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional specializing in urological care at Broward Urology Center. Since joining the practice in April 2024, Arelys has focused on providing comprehensive patient care, including conducting thorough assessments, collaborating with urologists to develop personalized treatment plans, and ensuring seamless post-operative follow-up care.
Arelys began her healthcare journey as a pharmacy technician and advanced her expertise while attending pharmacy school at Nova Southeastern University, where she worked as a pharmacist intern at Jackson Memorial Hospital and CVS Pharmacy. These roles honed her skills in medication management, patient counseling, and multidisciplinary teamwork, forming a strong foundation for her clinical practice as a Physician Assistant.
A graduate of a dual degree program, Arelys earned her Master of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Miami Dade College and Nova Southeastern University. During her studies, she demonstrated leadership as Class President and actively participated in community health initiatives, including organizing health screenings for underserved populations.
As a proud member of the Board of Directors for the Physician Associates for Latino Health, Arelys is deeply committed to advocating for health equity and improving access to care in the Latino community. Her bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish allows her to connect effectively with a diverse patient population and deliver culturally competent care.
Arelys is passionate about empowering patients with knowledge, fostering trust, and helping them make informed decisions about their health. She continues to stay engaged in professional development and advancements in urological care, ensuring the highest standards of treatment for her patients.
Urologist
Vladislav Gorbatiy, M.D., is a urologist who joined Broward Urology Center in 2012. He completed extensive medical research and clinical training with an emphasis on robotic, laparoscopic, and ablative surgical methods, and treatment of urological diseases including prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers.
Dr. Gorbatiy received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He then completed a surgical internship and residency training at University of Texas Health Science Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He moved to Florida to complete a 2-year minimally invasive, robotic, laparoscopic and ablative urology fellowship at University of Miami School of Medicine. He is the only urologist in Broward County to receive fellowship training in robotic surgery.
His interests include the DaVinci Robot and single incision reconstructive surgery for congenital kidney and ureter obstruction. He applies the latest minimally invasive techniques for the treatments of complex kidney stones and benign prostate enlargement.

Urologist
Dr. Eric Chenven graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. He completed his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and served his surgery and urology residencies at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ.
Dr. Chenven completed a fellowship in Endourology/Laparoscopy at the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He was awarded the Pfizer Scholar in Urology and the Gerald P. Murphy Scholar awards in his final year of residency. Recent research interests have included laparoscopic surgery, upper tract kidney tumors, PSA testing, kidney stones, and vasectomy.
He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association, American College of Surgeons, Endourology Society, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Chenven is currently the Chief of Urology at Broward Health Medical Center (BHMC). He sits on the Cancer Committee and the Surgical Quality Assurance Committee at BHMC, where he was formally also Medical Director for Laparoscopic and Minimally-Invasive Urologic Surgery.
Dr. Chenven joined the practice in 2003 as the first new urologist to come to Fort Lauderdale in over ten years. He has been in commercials for one of the local cancer centers and on TV programs, such as NOVA Southeastern’s Dateline Health, to discuss minimally invasive surgery and urological issues facing men and women. He specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic urologic surgery and endourology.
Dr. Chenven was selected as one of the Top Doctors in Broward and Palm Beach Counties by his fellow physicians and was listed for such in Gold Coast Magazine for 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, AND 2023.
Dr. Chenven was asked to join the Fort Lauderdale Executive Association (in February of 2015), the largest business networking group in all of south Florida.
Urologist
Dr. Louis R. Yogel, a New Jersey native, earned his undergraduate degree at Temple University and his medical degree at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Mexico, and College of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, NJ. He completed his general surgery residency at the Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ, and his urology residency at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque.
In 1987, he joined Dr. Ronald Fauer in a private Urology practice in Ft. Lauderdale, serving on six hospital medical staffs including Broward General and Holy Cross Hospital. He was one of the first surgeons in Broward County to offer nerve sparing prostate cancer surgery. In 2008, Dr. Yogel was voted into Florida’s Super Doctors. Dr. Yogel is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association, and the Florida Urological Association.
Dr. Yogel has an active career serving the local community as a physician leader. He has not only been a part of many surgical and physician societies but has led most them as past president of the Ft Lauderdale Surgical Society and others. Dr. Yogel recently finished two terms as Chief of Staff of Broward Health Medical Center. Prior to this, he served as, Vice Chief of Staff and Medical Staff Secretary-Treasurer for Broward Health Medical Center. He also spent ten years as chairman of Broward Health’s surgical quality management committee, overseeing surgical quality in our city.
He has been practicing urology for over 30 years. He has seen many changes and advancements in the specialty of Urology and brings vast experience and practicality to the practice.
