The testes are egg shaped male organs that produce sperm and the male hormone - testosterone. The testes are contained within a sac below the penis called the scrotum. The sperm produced in the testicles drain into an organ in the back of the testis called the epididymis, which then drains into another tube in the scrotum called the vas deferens. The vas deferens then passes through groin the prostate gland. Ejaculation forces semen out of the prostate and then penis.
